Bow Tie!

I have always been a fan of bows in general...bows on bags, on hairbands, on dresses, shoes....the list is endless!
And so when I found this clip bow tie in Lifestyle, I jumped at it!

Its silky, pretty, has pink polka dots. What more could a girl want? *sigh*

Worn with black lace vest-Ginger
Denim Shorts(Not seen!)
Lip Crayon by Victoria's Secret-Vintage Wine

Bow tie and Berry Lips!

Okay, now for some information of note. I am a geek sometimes!
"   The bow tie originated among Croatian mercenaries during the Prussian wars of the 17th century: the Croat mercenaries used a scarf around the neck to hold together the opening of their shirts! Do you mean there were no buttons back then?:o

This was soon adopted (under the name cravat, derived from the French for "Croat") by the upper classes in France, then a leader in fashion, and flourished in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Bow ties tend to be associated with particular professions, such as architects, finance  attorneys, university professors, teachers, waiters and politicians.

Pediatricians frequently wear bow ties since infants cannot grab them the way they could grab a tie and they do not get into places where they would be soiled or could, whether accidentally or deliberately, strangle the wearer.  haha!:)

Clowns sometimes use an oversize bow tie for its comic effect. haha, do I look like one?
Bow ties, or slight variations thereof, have also made their way into women's wear, especially business attire. We don them for spring fashion, yeah!;)  "
XOXO
You may recall seeing this bow-tie here!

One more thing...I need your opinion!
I wanted to change my blog Header, so I thought I would use this pic! What do you think?

Sunshine and Yellow

Happy Sunday my lovelies!
I've been in a sunny mood lately, and have decided on a maxim to go by-Enjoy the Sun when it lasts! Soon the rain clouds will be filling the skies with their delightful gloom, come monsoon!
But till then, its pure, bright sunshine, flowers, and high contrast images!XO

So this is what I wore to college yesterday. I had a test, which I did unexpectedly well on! The Jacket is actually an add on for the pictures, It was too hot to sport one all day!

Our college campus is really huge, and is filled with interesting gardens and nooks to take pictures in! God i'm going to miss it! Will do a post specially on it once:)

I really liked the combination on the mango-yellow shirt and the lacy jacket..

Paris Dreams

Hello all my fellow fashionistas!
I'm happy today because I did something productive, art-wise!
I'v had this cylindrical container around in  my room for ages, and it just stood there all these years, carrying all my coloured craft papers for me!

Plain, un-pretty, and pretty much useless.

And so I painted on it the Symbol of Love-The Eiffel Tower! I'v always been a fan of Paris...spent long hours dreaming about the Fashion, the Art, the Croissants(More than the others-I'm a foodie before fashionista) and the quaint street-side cafes!

And out came the trusty bottle of black acryllic(From the t-shirt painting from
here )And a miniature model of the tower to refer from! More on the miniature coming up..

So, do you like my paper-roll container?

I think about this thing and its amazing.

Probably every person who has been to Paris(Or hasn't-like me) has one of these miniature Eiffel towers at home...all mass produced little objects, in some factory back there!

Yet everyone gets them back home with a different memory in their heads...a different picture to relate it too..It means so differently to every different person!

For me, it was a gift. From a special friend who knew how much I adore
Paris, and how much I want to go there!

And so, old and dusty though it is, it means a lot to me:)

'Paris' tote from Forever21!

And Before I forget...Happy Birthday to my Darling Audrey Hepburn!
"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.."

Dearest Audrey, you shall always be alive in our Hearts!:)

Have a good weekend everyone, and do leave comments!
