Berry Freeze!

The previous week found me rushing back from Pune(Where I had gone for a friend's engagement ceremony) to attend an event in Bandra that I could not miss-The Cafe Coffee Day Style Icon Meet!

It was a fun filled event, where we were styled, made up, and were photo-ready by evening. I had a blast, catching up with my fellow bloggers, and met some new and interesting people as well! Smita and Anisha were the stylists for the evening, from "Amaze Styling". They had a host of looks ready for us, all corresponding to the CCD Brain Freezers theme! 'Brain Freezers' are a new range of cool slushes from CCD, and come in four different flavours.

Clothes by "Roxxy" & "Superdry" and Hair & Make up Partner "Marvie Ann Beck" styled by "Amaze Styling"

My theme was the Berry Freezer, which is why I am so pink! Of course, we were given unlimited Brain Freeze Slushes, which was perfect for the sultry Mumbai afternoon!

I am travelling to Ladakh, for shooting a photo documentary, soon. Will keep you guys updated!
Love.

The INGLOT Blogger's Meet

INGLOT cosmetics, an amazing international makeup brand, hosted a fun-filled evening with bloggers at their Phoenix store recently. The theme was supposedly 'Valentine's Day', but I got there sans any pink and red accessories, thankfully.

Namrata Hariani, Brand Manager, Inglot Cosmetics and Lisa Munlua, Inglot’s Make-up expert unveiled Inglot’s new 'berry' collection which will hit the stores next week.
We were asked to submit our names in little chits at the beginning of the evening. Later on, we discovered that it was for Lisa to try her magic makeup on!

So the first name from the box turned out to be...mine! I was picked for the super soft, and romantic Valentine's look!

Here is what it looks like..

Now I'm not much of a makeup girl, but I did agree that it works wonders for the face! I felt like a celeb when I looked into the mirror and couldn't recognize myself anymore! INGLOT's HD makeup range especially looks good in flash-photographs!

The evening ended on a happy note with everyone going back with hampers of INGLOT products!
Also, special thanks to the people at PR  Pundit for making the evening so much fun!

I'm currently busy working on a design portfolio to land internships! Its a lot of work, and I'm hardly getting any sleep. What are you up to this week?
Lots of Love.
Shubhi!

Marks And Spencer Store Launch

MARKS & SPENCER launched their flagship store in Bandra, about a week back! They opened thir largest store in India with a glittery, fashionable event!

I got there late (fashionably), and was delighted to meet my band of fellow bloggers from all over Bombay! The event kicked off with cocktails, and a celeb-studded fashion show for their Autumn-Winter Collection. Amidst all this buzz, I fell in love. With this glittery, sequin filled jacket at the store. If you see it up close, it will make you swoon! If you see the price tag, that will make you swoon as well.

I made a new friend, Ila, who blogs at The Flea Market Queen! We happily clicked pictures of each other, over Strawberry Daiquiris.

I was delighted to meet Kavya D'souza from www.streakhuefall.com! I have loved and followed her blog for ages, and she is a total street shopping junkie!

A few days after the event, I found this parcel waiting at my doorstep. Surprise!

If rich, elegant and luxurious fashion is your thing, you should definitely visit the new, enormous Marks @ Spencer Hill Road store!

Love.

The INGLOT Event

The Inglot event was fabulous fun! It was an afternoon filled with friends, makeup, nail art, wine, and loads of laughter!

The invite said 'Bring a Friend', so I took Siddhi, my gorgeous friend from college. As soon as we reached, we got out nails and makeup done from professional Inglot artists. We also happened to win a contest, the winner of which would get her makeup done by Ojas, a renouned makeup artist. Siddhi had a blast, being a demo face for Ojas, while the entire party looked on, as he demonstrated his makeup tricks on her!

I met Roanna, a super-sweet illustrator( from JupiterSkye), with whom I had exchanged a series of emails previously! It was a lovely surprise running into her, and we had loads of fun catching up and giggling over wine and cake pops.

It was also amazing running into Shanaya and Amena, and a whole lot of other fellow bloggers! Amena (from Fashionopolis) was her super sweet self as always, I especially loved her little neon pink bag! Shanaya (From Little Miss Sinner) looked uber chic in her distressed denims, peplum top, and spiked gold bracelets.

Me and Siddhi

Magali(from StyleMagalic) wore a pair of maroon Hunter boots(The first time I'm seeing them worn in Mumbai).
Siddhi got her nails done in a lavender velvet finish(above) , while I got my ring finger-nail studded with caviar.

Thanks to the people at Four Season's Wine for inviting me to the event! You can view their facebook page here.

Love,
Shubhi!

A Father's Day Gift with Arrow

Women's fashion can range from whimsical and decorative to tailored and classy, but a well dressed man must always be attired in the richest of fabrics with the most skilled cuts. This richness in men's fashion has always fascinated me, which is why when the ARROW store invited me to review their new collection, just in time for Father's Day(June 16th) , I jumped at the opportunity!

And I'm so glad I did. The New ARROW flagship store (at Bandra-Khar Linking Road) is drop dead gorgeous! Mr. Kalpesh, the store manager, very kindly showed me around. Spread over two floors of pure opulence, the store is a treat to the eyes!

The various collections are displayed in appropriately designed spaces, giving you a feel of the clothing even before you touch it.

Designed for the office of importance, the Presidents Collection from Arrow is a range of premium shirts with a beautiful finish. Its design is inspired by John F Kennedy! Sharp designs in rich hues are a perfect fit for special occasions. It is an apt gift for your dad, this Father's day.

I picked up a rich grey soft cotton shirt, specially recommended by the friendly store staff, for my dad. Can't wait to surprise him with it!

Other gifting options for your dad from the store include beautiful ties, cuff links, handkerchiefs, and other accessories. There's no way your dad cannot love and treasure this gift!

Do visit the store and share your ARROW experience here!

Love,
Shubhi!

PS: This is a sponsored post, but be assured, that the views expressed and the awe experienced is entirely my own.

Fashion Week Outfit

Imagine my excitement when I found that a friend of mine had passes, for the Fashion Week! And not just any passes, FRONT row passes! It was so awesome, all I can say is that she does not have to give me a birthday present anymore:D

Anyway. I went. And Saw. And Clicked..oh, what fun it was!

Some general pictures of the atmosphere..

And...this is what I wore!
I was so excited, got dressed in quite a hurry:D

My favourite lace dress  from Forever21, I cut and hemmed it a bit to make it asymmetrical..
I threw on the crotchet jacket to colour things up a bit!

I needed a tote to carry all my stuff, the sophisticated purses that i have didn't just cut it! So guess what? I carried this kitchy  NYC souveneir that probably everyone has but no one uses.
The bag is loaded with memories, and Superloaded with all my stuff. And is strong enough to carry it all.

My camera which weighs like 50 pounds, my umbrella(why are 3 folds so heavy?) ,my makeup, the book Im currently reading, and spare chappals( My beloved Salvatores in the monsoon squelch outside, are u kidding?)

So there. That's the bag I carried in the end:D
.

Also, Salvatore Ferragamo Shoes,Kundan Ring (Mom's) , Bird Pendant(Isn't it pretty??) from Colaba.

Front Row Passes...wohoo!

Have a wonderful week, everybody!

And Do Follow me on Twitter, I would love to Interact with you there..:)
