Vintage Pop

Off late, I've been obsessively looking at Katy Perry's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RMQksXpQSk

Why, you ask? The combination of fashion, graphic design, craft, and the groovy retro styling just has me drooling! I dream of working on such a video someday..
Meanwhile, I've been dreaming of tulle, making the old flower crowns, and finding vintage bags on the street.

How goes it with you folks? The October heat is killing us here in Mumbai, praying for the sweet winter and Diwali, with it!

Blue Rose

How are you doing, folks? Its been a fairly long time since I posted, apologies for that! I am super-excited about this new buy of mine, a Denim Shirt! Its a first for me! I just adore its pattern of white roses, it is super romantic :]

Plus it is perfect for Bombay winters! There is something amazing about the winter evenings here. The cold sets in after an incredibly warm afternoon, and soothes the world with its mellow chill. I love the winter!

Winds of Change

Shubhi's Revels is going to take its biggest-ever leap yet-By changing its name to Fairytale Style! I am very excited about this, and this transformation is something I had been planning an thinking about for a long time. I know its not always the best idea to wipe out an image from my reader's minds and place into it another one, but this was essential. Thank you for being with me for the past one year, dear readers. You helped me grow, you motivated me to do better. Every single comment of yours helped put a smile on my face and kept me going, even through the tough times.

And yes-nothing else about this blog is going to change. Hopefully, as I start design school, I will have better content and ideas to post here, and will get better at what I do! I might get busier, sure, but I promise(myself as well as you) to keep posting. The past year was tough, (I took a break year after college), but I'm glad I kept going. The future is uncertain, but I can see a bit of a rainbow peeking out from behind a cloud. And that's a good omen.

Sweet July

Yes I know, I know, its not July yet. But it is the one month I'm really looking forward to, because I get to go off to Design School! It's something I have wanted to do all my life, and now that its near, I am excited, apprehensive, and nervous all rolled up into one. After a long break year(which seems like a lifetime) of laziness, I am finally going to be more productive!

All play and no work makes Jack a dull chap.
