Butterflies on a Jewelled Tree

 My sister is a super stylish girl, and you can tell just by the way she stores her earrings. And she is very extremely organized, atleast 10 times more organized than me. I have NEVER seen such a beautiful jewel tree in my whole life... Not to mention the enviable earring collection!

I have reached New York, and there's so much to do and so much to write about, I don't know where to begin! It snowed the first day I was here, what a perfect start to a trip!

Lipcolour Tales

       Okay, don't worry, I'm not really going to tell you a big boring tale. I rarely use make-up, but I firmly believe that by the a girl turns 20, she should have found The perfect lipstick shade!Its my own theory, in case you wondered where I read it.
I'm a couple of years late, but better late then never, eh?

      Its been a long, winding road to finding this colour. I tried all kinds of reds before, and a friend actually asked me if I had just eaten an Ice Lolly. Here in my country, we have ice lollies called 'gola' in various gaudy hues that colour your mouth up temporarily!

       So anyway, this is an amazing pinkish-red shade that I found. And a very critical friend of mine approved of it too, so I'm pretty sure it's THE one for me! Oh the happiness!

      Oh by the way, Its from Colorbar, and cost me a meagre Rs 195/-! And though it not even remotely brick-red-ish, it is called 'Brick-O-La' for some inconceivable reason. Do I care?

      I'm taking a brief blogging break, because I am travelling to the United States! So come next week, I'll be your faithful correspondent from the second fashion capital of the world, NYC!  Hope the freezing weather permits this Mumbai(Read: A Hot, humid, blissfully sunny city) Girl to click pictures!

Badass Princess

Sometimes don't you just feel so completely fearless and badass? Even if your'e not actually like that, you have those phases. Well,  if you aren't, donning this would certainly get you believing you are. Or go watch Fight club.

The weather is just perfect, easy enough to wear a flimsy maxi dress and chilly enough to top it up with a fuzzy scarf!

Bag It!

This is a DIY bag I have been meaning to show you for ever so long! It is modified, actually. The original bag was boring and unused. 

Materials used: Coir rope(which is twined around the handles).

Acryllic paint(With which I painted the queen's face and the lavender accents)

Stick on pearls!

 

 

Tomorrow is Diwali, the festival of lights! The windows are decorated with fairy lights and lanterns, The doorways with oil lamps, and there is a stack of areal fireworks waiting to be lit! And lets not forget the sweets and all other super stuff.

Its my favourite festival of the year, and I am off to celebrate!

Golden Dusk

Dusk is probably my favourite time to shoot pictures! This is the first professional photoshoot Iv'e done, with a school friend who is a freelance model- Aren't the pictures gorgeous?
